The Douglas County Solicitor General’s office for the 2022 Outstanding Criminal Justice Agency Award for its intern program 🥳 👏

This award is given annually by the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University recognizing a criminal justice agency that achieves the program’s mission by consistently providing exceptional internship experiences to students.

The Solicitor General Internship Program hosts interns three times during the year from Georgia State University, Kennesaw State University or the University of West Georgia with Christina Peel McDermott serving as Director of the program.

Douglas County Courthouse, 8700 Hospital Drive on the Courthouse Steps my office will join District 3 Commissioner Tarenia Carthan in support of the First Annual Free Food Giveaway for The Holidays!

We will also have COVID-19 Vaccines and Boosters being administered by Douglas Public Health on site for those who would like to be vaccinated before the holiday family gathering.
