πŸ–€β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’š Today, Douglas County Fire/EMS Department joins our community in recognizing and celebrating Juneteenth β€” a day that commemorates freedom, resilience, and the ongoing pursuit of equality.

In observance of the holiday, the Douglas County Fire/EMS administrative offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th.

Please note that emergency services will continue to operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our firefighters, paramedics, and support personnel remain ready to serve our community.

We wish everyone a safe and meaningful Juneteenth.

Coming soon! Want to join the competition? We need you… just remember to say β€œFire Douglas County Fire/EMS Department is the BEST”

🩸Hey Douglas County, we need your help🩸. Yes, there is a shortage of blood, and we really need you to donate, but we also want you to donate in our county to help us win the "Red Cross Battle of the Badges". Donate blood at the Douglasville Police Department on Tuesday, June 16, between 11 am and 4 pm to help Douglasville Police, Douglas County Fire/EMS Department, and Douglas County Sheriff's Office (Georgia) beat our rivals in the competition, Haralson and Carroll Counties. There is only one location to donate and that is 2083 Fairburn Road at our Community Room. Sign up and donate and you will also receive a t-shirt and $15 e-gift card, plus automatic entry to win one of two $7,500 gift cards.
