The May-June issue of West Georgia Living recognizes one of our own, Alyssa Blacknall!

As a senior at Chapel Hill High School, Alyssa has made an incredible impact both academically and through extracurricular achievement. She serves as captain of our Speech and Debate team, earning several awards for her outstanding performance and leadership.

Alyssa has also been recognized as an AP Scholar with Distinction, an honor awarded to students who earn an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more exams. As of the end of senior year, Alyssa will have completed 22 Advanced Placement, Honors, and Dual Enrollment courses!

This fall, Alyssa will attend Princeton University, where she plans to study public policy or political science before pursuing a law degree.
