Here’s a snapshot of some of our recent events!
We’ve been having a blast at the Douglas County Loves Literacy events and have been able to check out a ton of books to patrons each event.
We’re still busy visiting the senior centers, and we’ll be at Woodie Fite next Monday from 1p-2:30p.
And we got to do some fun STEM activities with a summer camp! The kids had a blast building the tallest magnet tower they could and figuring out Snap Circuit projects.

This week!!
We will be at the Villa Rica Public Library today teaching a Teen Photography Class from 4-5p. This program requires patrons to sign up to participate. Spots are limited. Please contact for more information.
Today as well, we will be at the Douglasville Loves Literacy event located at the Youth Innovation Lab from 6p-7p. We will have books available for checkout and swag to grab!
Tuesday, June 23rd, we will be hosting an event for Midway UMC’s summer camp which is closed to public attendance, and on June 24th, we will be hosting an event for Inspiring Scholars Academy that is closed to the public as well.

This week we will be at the Midway UMC Summer Camp for an event closed to the public on June 16th.
June 17th, we will be at the Lithia Springs Senior Center at our regular time from 10:30a-11:30a!
Also on June 17th, the bookmobile will be a part of a large family event at Deer Lick Park with the from 2:30p-3:30p! Be sure to stop by as we will have a ton of cool activities taking place.
The library will also be closed THIS FRIDAY, June 19th, in honor of Juneteenth.

This week, we’ll be at the Douglasville Loves Literacy event TONIGHT from 6p-7p at 11490 Veterans Memorial Hwy, 30134, with the bookmobile.
Wednesday, June 10th, we’ll be at the Lithia Springs Senior Center from 10:30a-11:30a.
Thursday, we’ll be back at the Douglas Co. Senior Center from 10:30a-11:45a!
And then Friday, we’ll be doing STEAM with the Douglas County 4H. This event is closed to the public.

It’s officially Summer Reading!
June 2nd, we will be at Inspiring Scholars Academy for their summer program and then at the Church’s St. Farmer’s Market from 3:30p-5p.
June 4th, we will be at Lithia Spring Public Library’s Dino Tea Party from 2:30p-3:30p and then at Jessie Davis Park from 4:30p-5:30p for the Douglas County Library’s Teen Photography Class.
Saturday, June 6th, we will be at the Hoops for Inclusion event at Stewart Middle School from 1p-3p!
