Dolores County Senior Services will be accepting applications for a part-time Driver. To be considered a current application must be filed and applicants must be 18 years or older. Preferred experience with senior citizens. Preferred driving experience. Must be able to perform required record keeping as well as following federal regulations. CBI and CAPS background checks are required. Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing required. Starting hourly wage is $15.85 an hour for van driver and $16.55 for bus driver. Benefits include Holiday pay, PTO, and other benefits. Applications are available at https://dolocnty.colorado.gov/bids-and-jobs, the Commissioner's office at 409 N. Announcing the winners of the fundraiser chance drawing for Senior Services. The winner of the Traeger grill package was Dawn Wilson and the winner of the 50/50 split-the-pot was Connie Cannon. Congratulations to the winners and thank you for your support! Also a huge thank you to Keith and Renae Schear from Hensley's Processing for the donation of the 25 lb box of bratwurst and to Andrea Holley from Main Supply for the donation of the planter. All of the support is greatly appreciated!

Dolores County Senior Services is selling chance drawing tickets for a Traeger grill package. Package includes grill, bag of pellets, grill tools, $100 variety box of meats and a 25 lb box of assorted bratwurst donated by Keith and Renae Schear with Hensley's Meat. Tickets are 1 for $10 or 3 for $25 and are available at the Pioneer Center.
We are also doing a 50/50 split the pot drawing. Winner takes half and Senior Services takes half. Tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10. All proceeds go to benefit Dolores County Senior Services. Call the Pioneer Center at 970-677-2787 for more information.

We had a special guest help us with the Pledge of Allegiance today. Shayne and his mom volunteer at the Pioneer Center 3 days a week. We love having them there and appreciate all they do for us!

We had our annual volunteer appreciation lunch today at the Pioneer Center. In 2025 we had 32 volunteers who donated 1,170 hours for a savings to Senior Services of $17,550. Thank you volunteers!! We couldn't do it without you💜
