OPERATION GRATITUDE - We’re looking for members of who want to take 10 seconds to thank someone for being awesome or going out of their way for others during the COVID-19 pandemic. All you need is a cell phone, internet and a grateful heart. Here’s how to play ….
1) Film a 10 second video of yourself saying thank you to someone specific and what they did.
Example: “I’m SrA Smith, 436th Logistic Readiness Squadron and I want to say thank you to Ms. Jean from the Mission Partner Support Group for sewing my family cloth masks.”
2) Email the video to [email protected] by 27 April @ 0900.
It’s that easy. Below are some pro-tips on how to look and sound your best ….
1) Shoot horizontal video. Set your video quality to 1080P at 30FPS (you can change this in your camera settings)
2) Place yourself in the center of the frame and the camera at eye level.
3) Pick a quiet room or place (if you can, homeschooling isn't for the faint of heart)
4) Have a light source in front of you, not behind you. An open window on a sunny day works great.
5) Pay attention to what’s behind you. A mound of dirty dishes or laundry makes for a poor backdrop. Things like flightlines and security check points make for a security incident.
The video shout outs will be used to build a larger video product that will be posted on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and www.dover.af.mil.
