If you are a first time voter or you have moved, you can register to vote at your town office or at the polling place on Election Day. To register to vote, you must bring identification and something that shows a current address. A driver's license or state ID with a current address meets both criteria.
Otherwise, bring a checkbook or bill addressed to you at your current address, along with a social security card, birth certificate or hunting/fishing license.
