From the desk of Mayor Randy Mitchell:

On behalf of myself and the Dover Board of Commissioners, we are greatly saddened to learn of the passing of Bishop Malcolm Johnson, an exemplary public servant and human being. Bishop Johnson served as the Mayor for the Town of Dover for many years and accomplished progressive improvements during his time. His spirit of true dedication to public service made him a beloved and respected figure within the town. Bishop Johnson's passing leaves a void that will be difficult to fill. Flags in town have been lowered in honor of our former Mayor. We honor his memory and express our sincere condolences to his family on his passing.
