The dinos are on the loose! This past Tuesday, we launched our brand new scavenger hunt and sent our tiny prehistoric friends off to their hiding spots around the library. Some of them have already found their forever homes thanks to our amazing visitors this week — but there are still dinosaurs waiting to be found. ONE dinosaur will be set out and found each day. Think you can track one down? Come adopt a dino all Summer Reading long!

At today’s Family Story Time, we had a special guest reader, Mrs. Mary Ann, who delighted us with "The Seven Little Ducklings" by Annette Cate. She brought along toy ducks, giving them out to create a fun connection to her story. Then, in anticipation of our upcoming summer reading program, the children excitedly moved to the activity tables to color and decorate pages featuring playful dinosaurs.

This past week we had our Homeschool program with a LEGO Dino Challenge, mixing learning and creativity. Kids built dinosaur designs or their own creations using our LEGO collection. The program encouraged thinking, teamwork, and problem-solving in a fun way. As they searched through bins of colorful LEGO pieces, excited to make their ideas real.

We will see you for more Homeschool fun in August!
