Friends of the Stewart County Public Library also supports Dolly Parton's Imagination Library and promotes this important program at county events. Through this program, children ages birth through five years of age can receive a book a month in the mail. Currently, we have more than 500 children registered, which is 80% of eligible participants. We are seeking the remaining 20% because a love of books and reading is essential to the development of Stewart County and individual success.
