Jeffrey Sullivan, Building Craftsperson for the City of Dover Police Department, passed away in December of 2022.

Jeff received the Civilian of the Year award from the Police Department for 2022 and on Monday evening, his family was presented the award on his behalf.

Jeff was an outstanding member of our team and he is greatly missed!

This week is National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, so we wanted to take a moment and publicly recognize our Victim Services Coordinator, Diane Glenn. Diane has been with the Police Department for over 30 years and is an integral part of our day-to-day operations. Diane’s role is to stand with victims of crimes and guide them through the investigative process by providing resources, and making them aware of how these processes normally work.

Diane is an invaluable asset to our team here at Dover Police and her hard work and dedication to her duties does not go unnoticed.

Diane, we know this role you’re in is more than just a job for you and we thank you for continued dedication to service!

Meet Denae! Denae has been with Dover Police for 5 years and is currently assigned to "B" platoon.

Fun fact about Denae: Her Dad has been with Dover Police for 30 years and currently serves as a Dispatcher as well, assigned to "C" platoon. She also has a brother who is a Police Officer with Dover Police.
