The members of the Dover Fire Department extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and members of the Boston Fire Department on the tragic line of duty death of Firefighter Robert “Bobby” Kilduff Jr.

Firefighter Kilduff made the ultimate sacrifice while operating at a 3-alarm fire in Dorchester. A 24-year veteran of the Boston Fire Department, U.S. Marine veteran, and third-generation firefighter, Bobby dedicated his life to serving others with courage and honor.

Today, we stand with our brothers and sisters in Boston as they mourn the loss of one of their own. Please keep the Kilduff family and all members of the Boston Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy, brother. We have it from here. 🖤🚒

🇺🇸 May 2–3 | National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend 🇺🇸

This weekend, the Dover Fire Department joins departments across the country in honoring the courageous men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Held annually at the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial in Emmitsburg, this weekend serves as a powerful reminder of the bravery, dedication, and selflessness that define the fire service.

We remember those who gave everything to protect others, and we stand with the families, friends, and fellow firefighters who carry their legacy forward.

Please take a moment to honor the fallen and keep their memory alive.
