Sorry for the inconvenience but we want to let everyone know the water bills were mailed from Maysville Post Office April 30th. They send them to Cincinnati plant to be sent back to everyone but for some reason Cincinnati has lost them all. No one to my knowledge has received a bill this month. We have also noticed recently that mail (payments) coming back to us may not get to the office timely either. We may get a batch in at the end of the month that are postmarked from the first of the month up until the end of the month so don't count on the postal service to get it to you or us in a timely manner anymore. It is not the local office's, the carriers, nor our fault so please don't take it out on any of us or them!!! Due to this issue, we offer email notifications the day the charges are generated. If you want to get this notification, please call the office or email us your email address so we can get you set up. We offer free of charge automatic autodraft from your bank account on the 10th of every month and we also have bill pay you can access from facebook or our website www.wmwd.biz that you can pay online or by calling the office. There is a $4.00 fee for that but its still cheaper than getting a late penalty. We also have a payment box on the front porch of the office. Drop it in!! This is also happening with other local utilities and anyone whose mail goes thru the Cincinnati hub. Be kind.
