Safety Update

Dear Dover Public Schools Families and Community,I would like to inform our school community that earlier today, Dover Middle School implemented a temporary shelter-in-place out of an abundance of caution, as several students were visibly upset and concerned.During this time, school administrators visited classrooms throughout the building to speak directly with students, address their concerns, and reassure them that they were in a safe and supportive environment. The shelter-in-place was a precautionary measure, and there is no known active threat to Dover Middle School at this time.We understand that situations like these can create anxiety for students and families. Please know that the emotional well-being and safety of our students remain our highest priorities.Thank you for your continued trust, understanding, and partnership.Luis A.
