📚 Dover Avenue fifth graders took their Literacy Groups outside for some fresh air and word-building fun!

Students practiced word ladders, changing one letter at a time to create new words while strengthening their spelling and phonics skills. They sounded out each word and wrote it on their dry-erase boards, then used sidewalk chalk to complete and illustrate sentences. ✏️🎨

A little sunshine and creativity made for a fun literacy lesson! 🌪️
