Thank you for helping us celebrate 10 years of Arts DuPage. 💜

It was truly inspiring to be in a room filled with artists, arts organizations, supporters, and community members who believe that the arts enrich our lives and strengthen our communities.

As we reflected on the last decade, one thing became clear: the success of Arts DuPage has never been about one organization alone. It has been about a community of people who create, support, and participate in the arts — and champion the belief that the arts matter.

Our celebration brought that message to life. Kacie Smith of Arts Alliance Illinois shared eye-opening findings about the economic impact of the arts in DuPage County, reminding us that the arts are not a luxury. They are essential to our economy and quality of life.

Heidi Stevens then reminded us that numbers tell only part of the story. The arts also have an intrinsic value that cannot always be measured — they have the ability to inspire empathy, compassion, connection, and humanity.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the Arts DuPage story over the past 10 years. We look forward to the next chapter and to continuing to build a vibrant arts community together.

With gratitude,
Arts DuPage & DuPage Foundation

Join DuPage Foundation’s Next Generation Initiative on Thursday, October 1, from 5:30–7:30 pm at Noon Whistle Brewing in Lombard for an evening of connection, community and giving back.

We’ll be spotlighting Elmhurst/Yorkfield Food Pantry, whose work helps ensure neighbors facing food insecurity have access to healthy, nutritious food. Grant funding will help the pantry fill gaps in donated supplies by purchasing fresh produce, milk, eggs and healthy protein.
And thanks to The Mullholland Family Fund of DuPage Foundation, donations will be matched up to $2,500! 🙌

Congratulations to all of this morning’s honorees at the 24th Annual WSPN Philanthropy Awards held at College of DuPage! 🎉

The West Suburban Philanthropic Network does such an important job of celebrating the people, organizations, and businesses whose generosity, leadership and service make our communities stronger. We’re grateful to be part of a philanthropic community filled with so many inspiring changemakers.

A special congratulations to our long-time collaborator Mary Keating, director of community services for DuPage County, on receiving the Philanthropic Leadership Award, and Foundation Trustee Emerita Laurie McMahon, who was named Philanthropist of the Year. A shout out also to our partners to the west, Community Foundation of the Fox River Valley, who were named Philanthropic Foundation of the Year. All have demonstrated an extraordinary commitment to making a difference and strengthening our community through philanthropy and leadership.

We’re proud to celebrate all of this year’s remarkable honorees. Thank you for showing us what’s possible when people lead with generosity, purpose and heart. 💜

Today, more than 80 nonprofit organizations came together for something we don’t make enough time for: taking care of the people who spend their days taking care of our community.

The 2026 Community Leader Summit, hosted by Endeavor Health and sponsored by DuPage Foundation, gave local nonprofit leaders space to pause, connect, learn and recharge. From conversations about sustainable leadership and belonging to wellness activities designed to restore and renew, the day was a reminder that our community is stronger when its leaders are supported, too.

We’re grateful to Endeavor Health for creating this opportunity and to the incredible nonprofit leaders who showed up—not just for their organizations, but for themselves. 💙

What a weekend! 💜

We loved being out in the community, connecting with so many of the people and organizations making DuPage a stronger place to live, work and thrive.

From sponsoring cultural festivals at Veggie Fest and Halal Fest (IL Muslim Chamber of Commerce) , to cheering on the next generation of pilots at Tuskegee NEXT at their Red Tail Ball, to celebrating the unveiling of the Elmhurst/Yorkfield Food Pantry’s new van—made possible through a DuPage Foundation Community Impact grant—we were proud to show up, celebrate and support the work happening across our community.

So many great moments, people and causes to celebrate. Here’s a look at our weekend! 📸✨

When generosity meets local need, lives are changed. 💜

For more than 40 years, Teen Parent Connection has been helping young parents in DuPage County build brighter futures for themselves and their children. Through DuPage Foundation’s Community Impact grant program, fund partners like the Betty M. Bock Fund are helping make that work possible.

Our latest newsletter explores how we connect donors with causes they care about—creating meaningful impact for local nonprofits and the families they serve.
