First Responders Challenge Family Fun Day 2014 - Sat. September 13, 2014 TEAMS FORMING! Police, fire, other first responder-related individuals compete in obstacle course challenge. Family activities-events-FREE/open to public.

Vicarious Productions, Inc. and Prospect Creators, Inc. are proud to host the First Responders Challenge//Family Fun Day 2014. This event is FREE and open to the public, and will be held in Fishel Park in downtown Downers Grove on Saturday, September 13 from 10am until 5pm. Donations will be made to the 100 Club of DuPage and 100 Club of Chicago/Cook County; these organizations support the familie

s of firefighters and policemen who are killed in the line of duty. The event will consist of area police, firefighters and other first-responder related invidiuals in teams of three competing in an obstacle challenge; the top three placing teams will receive trophies and prizes. Other family-friendly activities will include inflatables, a caricature artist, wood-building activities for kids, and a showcase of area businesses. Chicagoland band The Belvederes will perform live; 97.1 The Drive will be in on the promotion as well. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Join us!
