At last week's Symposium, MTA honored its legislators of the year, State Senator Patrick Joyce and State Representative Brad Stephens. Sen. Joyce was unable to attend, but received his award at a later event. Rep. Stephens is a longtime supporter of township government and a former Supervisor. Sen. Joyce helped pass MTA-backed legislation allowing the association to conduct required Open Meetings Act training.

Thank you to Joliet Township for attending last week's Symposium!

Joliet Township Supervisor Cesar Guerrero and Executive Assistant Ana Campa Castillo attended the Township Symposium in Oak Brook, connecting with township leaders from across the region and learning new best practices.

By sharing ideas and learning from other communities, we continue to find ways to improve services and better serve Joliet Township residents.

Thank you to MTA and Township Officials of Cook County for bringing local leaders together to learn, connect, and grow.
