⚠️ Tuesday's storm was no joke.

A confirmed EF1 tornado tore through Homewood, Flossmoor, Thornton & Glenwood — and a derecho with 80-99 mph straight-line winds hammered Homer Glen, Tinley Park, Lockport, Joliet, Frankfort, Chicago Heights, and everywhere in between. It didn't stop there — this storm system tore across the entire Chicago metro, from the city itself out through the suburbs, leaving downed trees, power outages, and roof damage in its wake.

If you're in any of these areas, your roof may have damage you can't see from the ground.

Second opinion inspection today.

This homeowner worked with us back in 2019—we did her roof then. Another company came by recently and told her she had major storm damage and needed to file a claim immediately.

She called me for a second opinion.
I went up and inspected. There is some minor storm damage, but not enough to justify filing a claim. If we filed, the insurance payout wouldn't even cover her deductible.

Some companies will push you to file anything just to get a contract signed. We don't work that way. If it's not worth filing, I'm going to tell you the truth—even if it means I don't make money that day.

Honesty matters. That's why people call us back.

"It sounded like a volcano."

Out of the mouths of kids. That's how loud golf ball hail was last night—March 30th—in Western Springs, Brookfield, La Grange, La Grange Park, Downers Grove, Westmont, Aurora, Westchester, Hillside, Hinsdale, Romeoville, Bolingbrook, Lamont, & surrounding areas.
