As we approach the start of a new year, we wanted to remind you that the library will be closed on Monday, January 2 in observance of New Year's Day. We will reopen for regular business hours on Tuesday, January 3, and look forward to welcoming you back.

The library is more than just a place to borrow books. It is a source of knowledge, inspiration, and community for people of all ages and backgrounds. We offer a wide range of resources, including books, magazines, newspapers, e-books, audio books, and more. We also host events, workshops, and programs to engage and enrich our community.

We hope that you will continue to visit and use the library as a place to learn, grow, and connect in the new year. Whether you are looking to learn a new skill, escape into a good book, or simply find a quiet place to relax and recharge, the Downey City Library is here for you.

We wish you all the best in the new year and hope to see you at the library soon.
