My dad is from the famous coastal resort town known for fishing marlin, Mazatlan Sinaloa. He is a Civil Engineer (Cal State L.A), working for our state (Caltrans ). My mother Maria Orozco (Zacapu, Michoacan), met my father in Los Angeles and started working transporting patients to hospitals (M.O.V.E.). She now owns and operates a state licensed children's day care in Downey, for the past 20 yrs.
From West to Warren for all of us. My loving sister Gabi (yes, Gabriel and Gabriela) is a teacher, my little sister Hilda is an Air Force Vet, my lil Bro Cesar works for the Dodgers in Public Relations. We all have college degrees with Cesar about to finish his at CSUDH in Communications. I received a B.A. in Communications/Mass Media
from California State Dominguez Hills. Inherently, I was put into a leadership role. I believe we are on the right track.:)
I also had the great pleasure of playing baseball for world famous Coach Cone, at ELAC. I was a starting pitcher and started game three of round 1 in the playoffs. We beat Long Beach CC 2 out of 3 at their yard. We broke the school record for wins. He is now the athletic director there, thank you very much.Then got lucky and played professional with Tigres de Mexico City in the Mexican League (AAA).
