This February, we honor Black History Month by celebrating the achievements, resilience, and lasting contributions of Black leaders—past and present. Representation in education matters. 🤎

As PTA leaders, we are called to:

Downey Council PTA is so proud to celebrate our talented student artists who were recognized by 33rd District PTA in the PTA Reflections Art Program! 👏✨

Reflections is a California State PTA arts-in-education program that encourages students to explore their creativity and express themselves through the arts—whether it’s dance, film, literature, music, or visual arts. Our Downey students truly shined and earned Awards of Merit and Excellence at the district level.
