Starting Monday, August 17, 2026, at 8:00 AM, the LA County Development Authority’s Public
Housing Program will begin accepting registrations for 16 Site-Based Waiting Lists, including 10 elderly-designated properties.
Deadline to apply is September 16, 2026 (5:00 PM) and small site lists may close earlier once 1,000 applications are received. Interested individuals may register to one or more lists during this time.

information including property addresses, bedroom sizes, and more can be found at
www.lacda.org. Please note, the County’s Section 8 Waiting List remains closed.

Deputy Director Arakawa, Director Yung, Supervising Deputy Probation Officer Torres, and the Recruitment Team proudly represented the Los Angeles County Probation Department at the National Asian Peace Officers Association's Annual Conference in Los Angeles.

The conference brought together hundreds of law enforcement professionals from across the United States and Canada to network, share best practices, and develop future leaders. Deputy Director Arakawa also served as a featured panelist, sharing her expertise on Executive Management Leadership, Interview Preparation for Promotional Exams, and Trailblazers in Law Enforcement.
