🚒🚒 Investing in the communities we call home. 🚒🚒

Midway Coop is proud to support the Downs Fire Department with a $2,000 donation, matched dollar-for-dollar through the Land O'Lakes, Inc. Member Coop Match Program. Together, that provides a $4,000 investment in the department and the community it serves.

Dawson Johnson, Midway Coop Downs Elevator Branch Manager, recently presented the donation to Joel Hardy (JoelandStacey Hardy), Downs Assistant Fire Chief.

In our rural communities, local firefighters are more than first responders - they’re our friends, neighbors, customers, and coworkers who step forward when help is needed. We’re grateful for the time they give, the sacrifices they make, and their commitment to keeping our communities safe.

Thank you to Joel and the entire Downs Fire Department for all you do. We’re also grateful to Land O’Lakes for helping us double the impact of our support for organizations that make a difference close to home.

During the month of July, Downs Care & Rehab proudly collected school supply donations to help support local children as they prepare for the new school year.
Thanks to the incredible generosity of our residents, staff, families, and community members, we were able to donate a wonderful collection of school supplies to Kelly Berkley, representative of the Downs United Methodist Church. We are grateful to everyone who contributed and helped make a positive difference for local students.
