Today's Mock training was an experience that showcased the best of teamwork! Ward 5 Fire would like to thank Pafford, Pafford Air One Alpha, LERN (Louisiana Emergency Response Network), Union Parish 911, Bernice Fire, Truxno Fire, North East Union Fire, the students from DCCS, and all the young volunteers who gave their best as patients during the Mock MCI Crash. We're thankful to Downsville Community Charter School for their support in providing the bus for today's event. The training, involving 20 patients and multiple ambulances and helicopters, was a remarkable learning experience for patient care coordination alongside Ward 5, Bernice, and Truxno EMS members.

Hwy 15 Bridge at Stowe creek is closed per DOTD

Ward 5 will be conducting a mock bus crash training today at the new central station located at 11314 Hwy 15. If you see ambulances, helicopters, and other emergency services there, please don’t be alarmed. There is no danger; this is a training exercise designed to further train Ward 5 personnel and other agencies. Should a real emergency occur, we can provide our community with the best possible care.
