🌹We met a lot of y'all at Westminster Pride and plenty more outside of the county but now it's time for us to come to you!

🌹No previous experience or knowledge required, just the will to organize to fight for dignity and a better world!

🌹First hour will be a condensed 101 on our DSA chapter and what DSA could look like in Carroll County! Second half will be for meeting likeminded neighbors, chapter leads, and other members!

🌹 One of Frederick DSA's longest running programs is our Health and Wellness Station where we've distributed meals, water, and health supplies to members of the community, and we need YOUR help to keep it going! 🌹

🌹Join us every Tuesday from 1-3pm at 100 East St. and help us distribute needed supplies to our neighbors. Bring snacks, water, supplies, or just come hang out! 🌹

We'll go over latest updates across the chapter's working groups, recent events, a reportback on JUPI's ( Juventud Unida por la Independencia DMV ) 1st ever National Congress, and more!

DSA's International Committee ( DSA International Committee ) recently released a statement recognizing and fully supporting the people of Puerto Rico's struggle for independence from the U.S! We reject colonialism outright and recognize that independence is the solution.

Community defense and harm reduction isn't just about providing resources; it's about providing the knowledge to keep eachother safe. Being adequately prepared to spot the signs of opioid overdose and administer nalaxone is a life saving skill and easy to learn!

❌DRAG BINGO HAS BEEN POSTPONED DUE TO WEATHER❌

Due to tonight's weather reports and possible unsafe road conditions, to ensure the safety of volunteers, performers, and guests we've decided to postpone tonight’s Drag Bingo fundraiser event for next Saturday the 25th.

***Repost to clarify that there will be no drinks provided , this event will be BYOB***

⭐️Join Frederick DSA and the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Frederick on 7/18/26 for Drag Bingo, hosted by the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence!⭐️

All proceeds from this event will go toward paying off student lunch debt for students in the Frederick County School System. Imagine a world where students didn't have to accumulate debt at school, that should be the bare minimum from a functioning society!

This event will feature drag entertainment from the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence and a special guest drag performer Devorah B Nite!
Attendees must be 21 years of age or older to enter. Alcohol will be available on site with a suggested donation.
⭐️The suggested donation for entry and bingo cards is $20.⭐️
Bingo winners will receive prizes! Please bring cash or Venmo and tip generously! Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Be sure to be there for a night of good fun, good drag and solidarity with our students! You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll kiss $20 goodbye!
