On 8/4, an officer responded to the area of W. Clinton St. and Park Dr. for the report of a two-car accident. No injuries were reported.

On 8/4, a Collier Dr. resident reported the theft of an AC unit from her apartment window. The incident is a continuation of an on-going civil issue over property.

On 8/6, a S. Portage St. resident reported a civil issue over a storage unit and its contents.

On 8/7, an officer responded to the area of E. Clinton St. and N. Portage St. for the report of a two-car accident. No injuries were reported.

ON 8/7, officers responded to the report of a disturbance in the 300 block of Collier Dr. A female was no trespassed.

On 8/8, an officer responded to the area of N. Portage St. and Christmas for the report of a one-car accident. No injuries were reported.

As a friendly reminder, and as always, bicycles, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, roller-skates and Heelys of any kind will not permitted within the perimeter of the festival, car show and motorcycle show.

On 7/30, officers responded to Edwards St. for a two-vehicle accident. No injuries were reported.

ON 7/30, an officer responded to the 200 block of E. Clinton St. for a disturbance.

On 7/31, an officer assisted WCSO in the 11000 block of Black Diamond Rd. with a warrant attempt.

On 8/1, officers responded to the 300 block of Collier Dr. for a male refusing to leave a residence.

On 8/2, an officer assisted WCSO on Coal Bank Rd. at the RR tracks with a one-vehicle accident. Minor injuries were reported.

On 7/13, an officer responded to the 300 block of Collier Dr. for the report of harassment.

On 7/13, officers assisted WCSO in the 14000 block of Hatfield Rd. after a door-to-door solicitor reported that a male fired his weapon into the ground and/or air and followed him. The male was located, identified and arrested on fi****ms charges. A firearm and shell casings were also recovered.

On 7/16, a Hidden Pond Dr. resident reported an open burning complaint. The resident was advised that the smoke, haze and odor was related to the Canadian wildfires.

On 7/17, officers responded to a disturbance in the 100 block of Jackson St. The disturbance stemmed from a civil issue over a family estate. A female was arrested on a warrant.

On 7/18, officers responded to a Greenwood Dr. residence for a domestic disturbance.

A possible gas leak and intermittent odor of natural gas was reported in the area of Brooklyn Ave. and Howard St. Residents within 100 yards of the intersection were asked to evacuate until the source could be located. A leak was detected in the gas line to the elementary school. Enbridge has since given the “all clear” and advised that it is safe for residents to return home. Enbridge will continue to monitor and schedule to dig up and cap the gas line.
