I want to thank my brother Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick for his non-stop effort to get the Right to Try signed into law. This is a huge win led by Bucks County. I could not be prouder to see Brian and our local patient advocates, Matt Bellina and Frank Mongiello, and so many others finally get this done. Terminally ill patients around the nation will now have access to clinical treatments that could potentially save their lives. Never forget that everything that happens in Congress affects millions of Americans. Last week, we’ve seen a historic positive change as Right to Try legislation was signed into law. It was achieved in a Congress that is usually known for doing nothing. To make a change like passing the Right to Try, you must be in the radical middle where you bring together everyone to make a difference. You’re up against entrenched special interests in Washington, but you must maintain your integrity and never lose sight of those you represent. That’s exactly what Brian did. He brought both political sides together, beat back the special interest, and he got the overwhelmingly bipartisan done.

Thank you to all those who love our Nation, and to those who gave their lives for it.
