Introductory level English language learning students and teacher Jackie A. from Vita's William Tennent High School location celebrated the end of the school year with an unforgettable cultural experience at a local Eastern European restaurant! Students enjoyed authentic cuisine, practiced their English skills in a real-world setting, and immersed themselves in the joy of fun and fellowship. This experiential learning opportunity brought language and culture to life while creating lasting memories, laughter, and connections. We are so proud of our students for their hard work, growth, and enthusiasm throughout the year. What a beautiful way to celebrate learning beyond the classroom!

Vita's Bristol Family Literacy classes recently visited the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library and had a wonderful time! The kids played in the children's area, and Shannon, Grundy's Youth Services Librarian, read interactive stories and sang songs with the families. Children also got to do a little coloring and play with some toys - the plastic animals and dinosaurs were a big hit! Our time at the library with Shannon was amazing and we're looking forward to our summer Interactive Literacy Activity visits.

Vita is deeply grateful to 100 Women Who Care - Bucks County for having us as a presenter at their March 2026 meeting and for their generous gift of $8,125.93!

100+ Women Who Care Bucks County brings together more than 250 women four times a year to learn about local nonprofits and provide meaningful donations that support the community. We're so grateful to this dynamic group of women for their geneoristy, their community spirit, and their belief in Vita's mission!

Happy International Day of Families! This year's theme - Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing - reminds us that every family deserves the tools to thrive. That's what Vita's Family Literacy Program is all about.

Family Literacy brings parents and children together to build stronger literacy skills, creating a foundation for lifelong learning and brighter futures. When families learns together, they grow together!

Vita recently partnered with PA CareerLink Bucks County to bring their Workforce on Wheels (WOW) mobile unit directly to our Bristol location. The WOW vehicle is a fully equipped, mobile career center that travels to community sites and offers employment resources at locations convenient for job seekers. For Vita's students, that meant getting job development support in a familiar environment. Over two visits, CareerLink Bucks County staff worked one-on-one with 20 adult basic education and English language learning students. We look forward to welcoming the WOW vehicle again soon!

New week, new website! We're excited to share that Vita's new website is live!

Thanks to our fantastic web design firm CourseVector LLC , the new site is cleaner, easier to navigate, and designed with visitor accessibility in mind – whether its students, supporters, or folks interested in learning about adult education in Bucks County.

Vita was proud to be a part of the Pennsylvania Association for Adult Continuing Education's annual conference last week! "Lifelong Learning Limitless Possibilities" brought together adult educators from across PA for professional development, networking, and the chance to learn about new resources and tools. Douglas Green, ESL Tutoring Coordinator; Pat Stansfield, ABE Tutoring Coordinator; Karina Weglius, ESL Program Director, and Heather Giampapa, Executive Director, attended in-person in State College and 5 staff members attended virtually.
