Village of Doylestown

The regular meeting of the Doylestown Village Board was called to order by Clerk Guse on Monday, August 3, 2026 at 6:30 pm. Board members present: Trustee Denikas, Trustee Martin, Trustee Langsdorf, and Trustee Thiele. President Krakow was absent.

Clerk Guse appointed Trustee Thiele to conduct meeting in President Krakow’s absence.

The meeting was properly noticed. Motion by Trustee Denikas to approve the agenda as posted. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.
Motion by Trustee Langsdorf to approve the July 13, 2026 minutes. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

Trustee Denikas is trying to get in contact with the railroad to talk about the 2 intersections where the tracks cross that are in need of repair. He also is waiting for quotes for redoing several intersections within the village.

Trustee Langsdorf said that Todd Bateson is interested in filling in at the recycling center when Cooper Krakow leaves at the end of the summer for college. Trustee Thiele is going to contact Justin Schultz to find out what hours each month will need to be covered that he will not be working.

Trustee Langsdorf has been in contact with Hometown Glass to get the broken window replaced in the door at the village hall.

The Fireman’s Picnic will be held this weekend August 7-9, 2026 at Fireman’s Park.

Motion by Trustee Denikas to approve the bills for payment. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

Discussion on checking to see if Brightspeed will lower our bill, to add voicemail service, and to get quote from Spectrum if we change service. Clerk Guse will call Brightspeed and Spectrum for information.

The Partisan Primary election is August 11, 2026.

The next meeting will be Thursday, September 10, 2026 at 6:30 pm.

No additional business was proposed and the meeting was adjourned at 7:05 PM.

Village of Doylestown

The regular meeting of the Doylestown Village Board was called to order by President Krakow on Monday, June 1, 2026 at 6:30 pm.

Board members present: Trustee Denikas, Trustee, Martin, Trustee Langsdorf. Absent: Trustee Thiele.

Motion by Trustee Langsdorf to approve the agenda and meeting notice as posted. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

Motion by Trustee Martin to approve the May 7, 2026 regular meeting minutes. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

Motion by Trustee Langsdorf to approve the May 7, 2026 Board of Review meeting minutes. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

Doris Thiele was present to request that N4141 Thompson Street be rezoned to residential. Motion by Trustee Martin to approve the rezoning. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

Doris Thiele also presented a building permit request for the renovation of N4141 Thompson Street. Motion by Trustee Denikas to approve the building permit. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

A bid from Minick Custom Services was presented for ditch mowing for the 2026-2027 seasons. Motion by Trustee Denikas to approve the bid. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.

The toilets in the Women’s restroom at the hall have been replaced.

The Fire Department applied for a grant through FEMA to replace the brush truck.

The Fire Department presented an application for a Temporary Alcohol Beverage License for the Fireman’s Picnic in August. Motion by Trustee Martin to approve the license. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved with Trustee Langsdorf abstaining from the vote as fire chief.

The voting machines went in for maintenance in May. The Clerk/Treasurer, Krista Guse, will be on vacation 6/27/26-7/5/26.

Funds report read. Motion by Trustee Martin to approve the bills for payment. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved.

The next meeting will be Monday, July 13, 2026 at 6:30 PM.

No additional business was proposed and the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM.

Village of Doylestown

The regular meeting of the Doylestown Village Board was called to order by President Krakow on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 6:30 pm. Board members present: Trustee Denikas, Trustee, Martin, and Trustee Langsdorf. Absent: Trustee Thiele.
Motion by Trustee Martin to approve the agenda and meeting as posted. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried
Motion by Trustee Langsdorf to approve the March 3, 2026 minutes. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.
Mike Neuman was present to submit a building permit application for a 12’x24’ shed at N4110 Fur Farm Road. Motion by Trustee Denikas to approve the building permit. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.
No progression has been made on toilet replacement in hall. Trustee Langsdorf is waiting on response from plumber.
Discussion on options to replace overhead doors at hall.
Fire Department: working on completing grant for potential new brush truck. They will be doing another Friday fish fry on the Friday night of the Fireman’s Picnic. Wyocena fire department has discussed possibly doing their pancake breakfast on the Saturday morning of the Doylestown picnic. The Sportsman’s Banquet will be held on April 11, 2026. 260 tickets were sold.
Funds report read. Motion by Trustee Denikas to approve current bills and account balances. The motion received a second and was unanimously approved. Motion carried.
The next meeting will be Thursday, May 7, 2026 6:30 pm.
No additional business was proposed and the meeting was adjourned at 7:48 pm.
