Have you seen the inside of the Day Barn recently? I took a tour of ladies there and, at the same time, there was a tour of reps from other cities to see it too. It's nearly done! Just need a bit more moooo-la :) If you can find your way there (take that little road from 1300 E. through Draper Park) check it out - in fact, check out the whole, newly landscaped complex called Pioneer Square. It looks fantastic! Go to the blog for donation info if you're in the mooo-d!

This depression era dairy barn has now been relocated to Draper's Town Center and renovations for multi-purpose use by the community are nearly complete. Fundraising is tough at the end of a project. The Barn LOOKS complete but we need several thousand more for things like bath and light fixtures,...

Howdy Friends! Thanks for your support of the Day Dairy Barn. Help us spread the word by telling friends, relatives and other Draperites! We even have a "cause" page where you can donate to the Day Barn through the Draper Community Foundation. We're getting close to the finish line so any amount will help get the Barn open for all those FUN events! Thanks!

GREAT NEWS! - PFG insurance, run by Historic Preservation Chair Rob Perry has agreed to make ANOTHER donation! Only THIS time they will match all the contributions raised from now on - up to $500!! SO, when you contribute, your money will be DOUBLED! That's double the money for the DAY BARN!

Oh, even though the Barn looks nearly complete, we really NEED contributions. Tod Wadsworth, many Day Family members & others have given till it hurts. There are bills to pay & needed things like baseboard heaters, bath & light fixtures, displays, tile, hardware etc. The last 10% of funding is often the hardest. Get in on this historic happening before it is too late! See the Day Barn Blog for more information.

We just had an open house for the Day Barn over the Draper Days weekend. A lot of folks were amazed at the progress and surprised to see just how nicely finished the Barn is and how many uses it will have! If you haven't already donated, you'll want to do it ASAP. We're only about 10% away from having all the funding needed PLUS, if you donate $100 or more soon, you can still get your name on the plaque.
