🚨Dresden Fire Department Responds to High Call Volume🚨

Since May 18th, the Dresden Fire Department has experienced an exceptionally demanding week, responding to 10 incidents throughout the community. Calls for service included one commercial structure fire, one apartment complex fire, two barn fires, one cooking fire, four smoke investigations, and one public service assistance call.

In total, Dresden firefighters dedicated more than 132 man-hours on scene during this week alone. As all of our members are paid on call personnel who also maintain full-time employment, this level of activity represents a tremendous sacrifice of personal and family time in order to protect and serve our community.

The Dresden Fire Department would like to extend sincere appreciation to the neighboring agencies that provided mutual aid and support throughout these incidents, including City of Martin Fire/EMS, Sharon Fire/Rescue, Palmersville Fire, Latham Fire, and Weakley County EMS.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to the Dresden Police Department and Weakley County 911 for their professionalism, coordination, and continued support during these responses.

The teamwork displayed this week is a true reflection of the strong partnerships that exist between our local emergency service agencies.
