More Friday Fun! This was probably my favorite part of the whole week. When people talk about all that’s wrong with youth today they are not talking about livestock kids. We had an adult showmanship class in our fun show. As it was getting started the adult judges were thrown out of the ring by Koby Bradley and his team of youth judges who took the lead and took over. They did a fantastic job and I think enjoyed roasting the adults that they have learned from! It was fantastic! I am so proud of the young people 4-H is raising!!

Friday fun day! Goats are the only animal at the fair that does not have an open show. This year at the suggestion and help of Jason Dingey we pulled off a fun show in about 12 hours. We had a fantastic turnout of about 60 goats. Everyone had a great time!

I have a few more things to post from fair week but I want to take a minute for thank you’s! This week cannot happen without volunteers and community support. First to my goat committee, Linda Robison, Dee Shaffer, Martie Dusenbery, Mary Morrow and Karen Burkhart, thanks for all the hours you put in throughout the year to make everything at the fair run smoothly! I couldn’t do it without my queen’s. Thanks Jamie Mc and your team for all of your hard work and dedication. A huge shout out to Melanie Williams. Not many people realize all that Melanie does and how her hard work makes our jobs much easier! Thank you Katie Linville for stepping up and taking over the goat barn on Sr. Fairboard and all the help you have been to us!

We would like to congratulate our born and raised market whether winners. Grand champion, Elianna Moran and reserve champion Logan Dearing. A big thank you to Zemba companies and Fox Law Office for sponsoring our belt buckles. We were so happy with the turn out and the amount of exhibitors we have raising their own projects.
