Aronimink Swim Club

Aronimink Swim Club Founded in 1938, the club boasts two large pools, including one reserved for adults (except during swim meets).

There's also playgrounds, a Gaga pit, ping pong tables, basketball courts, a snack bar, tennis courts, a pickleball court and more.

With the good turnout from our seventh annual Labor Day Duck Derby 50/50, ASC donated our half ($1,200) to several local animal rescue groups!

Animal Friends of Lansdowne is a non-profit devoted to such issues as animal rescue & adoption, population control, health & sanitation, education & awareness & the humane treatment of all animals.

Helping Paws Upper Darby is a group dedicated to helping communities & individuals by humanely trapping, transporting cats/kittens to clinics to get spayed/neutered, provide medical treatment & care where needed, & return them to their environment where there will be cared for or we foster friendly cats to get them rehomed through adoption.

Pennsylvania SPCA rescues animals from cruelty & neglect, rehabilitates them medically & behaviorally & places them with new, loving families.

We also donated 47 lost & found beach towels to Providence Animal Center. All the clothing, shoes, ect. were given to Goodwill. Through Sea Tow Foundation, we gifted 10 life jackets to the Ridley Park Marina. The foundation selects sites for their life jacket loaner program, where the life jackets are available for boaters to borrow free of charge for the day, promoting safety on the water.

Pictured is Darla, a cuddle bug who absolutely adores pets & affection. She’s great with other gentle cats, which makes her a perfect addition to a tranquil environment.

What a beautiful, sunny day it was to celebrate Labor Day! DjKevin Henley kept the party going during one of our busiest & most difficult days of the summer! We sold 645 ducks (a little less than last year) for a total of $2,400 & donated half to local animal rescue groups!

Thank you to our great members & our amazing lifeguards, front desk & snack bar staffs for making the day such a success!

See you all next summer!

What a beautiful, cool summer day for a poolside Timeless Tunes Trio concert featuring our very own ASC member Jack Colden on drums & his bandmates Bob & Kathie Cellucci! And a special guest appearance by Dan Donahue on guitar & vocals! Our members are so talented!

Everyone loved hearing the classic hits as well as soft rock selections! Wonderful job!
