Drexel Area Swimming Pool Drexel Area Swimming Pool is a public pool for everyone to enjoy. There are certified lifeguards to keep you safe and a concession to provide food.

The Drexel Swimming Pool was built on donations, fundraisers and a lot of hardworking Drexel residence, in 1972. We continue to be ran on donations, fundraisers and the money made during the pool season. There is a lot of upkeep needed to keep the local pool running so we need a Pool Board to continue to having fundraisers and get donations, so if you are interested in serving PLEASE let the Drexel City Hall know.

UPDATE: HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL TOMORROW MORNING!!

Well its round 2 of getting the pool ready to open. Saturday and Sunday we will be paint the Bath house/concession stand. If you are available and want to help with painting the building then please join us around 9:00. The more people we have the faster we can get it done. By the way we are filling the pool. Cant wait! Hope you can join us.

Drexels's Annual Easter Egg Hunt & Drexel Swimming Pool Pancake Breakfast fundraiser will be held on Saturday, April 4th, 2026 at H.T. Smith Park. (Community Building)

Bring the whole family out for a fun-filled morning:

This community event helps raise funds to support and improve Drexel City Swimming Pool - every plate of pancakes helps make a difference! Grab your baskets 🧺, invite your friends & join us to celebrate Spring! 🌸🐣

It is with a heavy heart that the Drexel Swimming Pool Board has to inform you that the swimming pool will not be opening this summer due to a lack of interest in lifeguards. We will take this time to do some upgrades that we can do on our own. We thank you all for your generous support, and hopefully, we will be back next year with a full staff. It's hard to run the pool with only 3 lifeguards. We hope you all have a great summer.
