Driftwood Water customers if you get a little bit of dirt or air in your line, just run the water for a while. It will go away. It was caused by the work that was done today closing off the old mainline on 120. It did not affect the water quality.

This message serves to update all concerned regarding the condition of Castle Garden Road, Boyer Run. It has now been one year since the high-water event that compromised the road's integrity. Driftwood Borough has completed all necessary work and obtained FEMA approval for funding to repair the roadway. The current delay is due to the required permit from DEP to replace the pipe; securing this permit involves having an engineer prepare the plans and submit the application, after which DEP may take over four months to process the approval. In the meantime, the Borough will assess the feasibility of installing a temporary solution to ensure vehicle safety until permanent repairs can be made.

Attention Driftwood Residents and Camp Owners:

Gibson Township has informed us of instances of illegal dumping at the dumpster site located at the Gibson Township Building. Please note that only bagged household trash is permitted for disposal at this location; items such as televisions, furniture, appliances, and building materials are strictly prohibited. Violators may be subject to fines for improper disposal of these materials. There are two designated large item clean-up days each year when such items can be properly discarded. We kindly ask that you follow all posted rules at the dump site. Continued violations could result in the loss of access to this service, which would require hiring another company for trash removal and could lead to increased fees.
