A great addition to the Charro bird blind has just been finished. Hays Master Naturalist Tina Adkins spearheaded a project to create bird identification plaques to post at the bird blinds at Charro and Dripping Springs Ranch Park. Over 50 signs were installed with pictures of the most often seen birds. This helps visitors identify the birds they see and helps promote interest in birds and nature. All of the photos were taken by local photographers.
