Olive Volunteer Fire Department Welcome to our official page. Please note we prohibit the posting of inappropriate comments, photos, etc. which will be deleted and violators will be banned.

Board meetings are held the second Saturday of the new month at 8am at Fire Station 1. We are an all volunteer fire department established, and state incorporated May 28, 1993, as a Title 18 department with an ISO Public Protection Classification 5 rating. We are also an IRS 501(c)3 public charity organization meaning all donations are tax deductible. We operate from two stations covering 44 square miles with a budget supported from fire protection agreements, service fees, donations, fundraisers, grants and a small fire sales tax. We currently respond to approximately 150 emergency and non-emergency incidents annually. Regularly scheduled board/fire meetings are held on the second Saturday of the new month at 8:00 A.M. in the meeting room of Station 1 unless otherwise noted. This evening at approximately 412 pm, we were dispatched to an oilfield equipment fire in a remote area off 449th north of Highway 33. The company was able to extinguish the majority of the fire using an on-site tank truck drafting from a nearby pond. All site personnel were accounted for and no injuries were reported. OCC was notified immediately by the company.

We are excited to announce that we have received the 2025 FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) in the total amount of $72,995.00 to purchase new bunker gear.

“Firefighters and other first responders are everyday heroes, helping their neighbors and communities when they need it most. Through this grant funding, FEMA is building the capability of these local organizations to respond to disasters and emergencies. By empowering fire departments to get the staff, training and equipment they need, FEMA is strengthening the resilience of American communities nationwide," said FEMA Administrator Cameron Hamilton.

This is the 10th AFG award equaling $440,975.00.

This evening we dedicated and opened the new Emergency Services Training Center.

This was made possible thanks to the 2024 INCOG REAP grant, 2022 Creek County Fire Sales Tax and department budget funds and a partnership with Central Tech.

Thank you to the many people who made this possible and we look forward to all the training it will provide.

Benediction done by First Baptist Church Olive Pastor Joey Johnson.

We are excited to use the ESTC this weekend during the 1st Annual Creek County Fire District Association Training weekend. Emergency responders from all over Oklahoma will attend 16 different classes all for free.
