Looks like the heat will be staying for a bit. If you have to be outside please stay hydrated check on your elderly neighbors. Be sure animals have enough water and remember with this heat the chances of a small fire growing out of control fast are increasingly high

Hey everyone! Hope your week is going smoothly. Our post about late dues and subsequent news interview resulted in some great discussions and ideas that the board will be considering. In the meantime, we would like to encourage anyone who didn't receive a bill to reach out to Chief Chris Hammett 417-259-0954 or Roy Crouch 417-372-1549, so that we can rectify the problem. Everyone is invited to next month's board meeting on Tuesday the 8th at 7 as well.

Annual memberships are now (past) due. Only approximately 43% of our members have paid so far. The board would greatly appreciate it if everyone who hasn't already would please pay their dues. As a volunteer department, membership dues are very important in helping us continue to provide the services and support our community needs. Please spread the word to your neighbors and friends, as well. Let's see if 2026-2027 is the year we break 50%. Thanks and have a safe week!

The Blood Mobile is here and getting set up, PLEASE come on out and support the drive it has been said that our community cant get 25 donors, lets prove them wrong and show what awsome community we live in. The Blood Mobile will be here till the start of the picnic at 6pm we hope to see you here. One last though you never know you donation just might save someone you love.
