During National Police Memorial Week, the service and sacrifice of three fallen Troopers are honored: Trooper Robert Miller (February 14, 1951), Trooper Herbert Bush (October 11, 1958), and Trooper Joseph Ward (April 23, 1973). They will never be forgotten.

These messages may state that you have an outstanding citation, fine, or legal issue that requires immediate payment. They often include a link or instructions to pay fees or provide personal information.

Please be aware:
- This is a scam. The Kentucky State Police do not notify individuals of citations or request payments via text message.
- Do not click on any links or respond to these messages.
- Do not provide personal or financial information.

What you should do:
- Delete the message immediately.

- Stay vigilant and help spread the word to protect others in your community
