All of us at the Dryden Township Police Department would like to express our appreciation and gratitude to Bob Jenkins and his awesome team at RSI Audio Video Security for the donation and installation of a video security system at our facility. This was a much needed upgrade that was beyond our expectations. Our department and community are thankful for this technology and safety upgrade. Thank you again Bob!

Our department would like to introduce our newest member, Officer Bob Wells. Officer Wells brings an enormous amount of law enforcement knowledge and expertise to our team. Officer Wells previously served 27 years with the Lapeer County Sheriff’s Office, much of that time as a Detective Sergeant and ending up at the rank of Detective Lieutenant. We are grateful he’s on our team!

Weather Doesn't Cause Crashes; Drivers Do
Drive Slow on Ice and Snow
As snow begins to fall across the county, we're reminding drivers to slow down and use caution when traveling on slick and snow-covered roads

Remember: the weather doesn't cause crashes; most winter driving crashes are caused by drivers going too fast for the roadway conditions.

For information on a wide range of cold-weather challenges, such as planning a safe route, how to control your vehicle on slick roads, what to do in an emergency, passenger safety information, tire tips and more, visit Michigan.gov/WinterDriving.
