The Dryden Fire Department had (35) Medical First Responder and (14) Fire-related calls in the month of May.

Our training focused on airway, pumper panel and a communication meeting. Summer is upon us, and likely high heat will join us - stay safe and be cool!

Please call 911 in case of emergencies.

The Dryden Fire Department had (23) Medical First Responder and (12) Fire-related calls in the month of April.

April brought the Easter bunny and our last pancake breakfast for the year, as well as department CPR recertification, ventilation training and air pack training. We also said our final farewell to Ralph Starke, an almost 12 year veteran of the Dryden Township Fire Department.

Please call 911 in case of emergencies.

Today, we gather as a department, as a community, and alongside our neighboring fire departments to celebrate the life of Ralph Starke — a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, faithful servant of God, and a proud member of the Dryden Township Fire Department.

Ralph lived a life of service. Whether answering emergency calls at all hours, caring for others as a firefighter and Medical First Responder, or simply being a steady, kind presence in the lives of those around him, Ralph made a lasting impact on so many. His faith, compassion, and commitment to helping others will never be forgotten.

Today we honor his life, his legacy, and the example he set for all of us. Please join us for a memorial service at the Dryden Wesleyan church at noon today.

Rest easy, Ralph. We’ll take it from here.
Your Dryden Township Fire Department family and this community will carry your memory with us always.

The Dryden Fire Department had (16) Medical First Responder and (15) Fire-related calls in the month of March.

March rocked Dryden with a few nasty storms that sent power lines flying, having several members out supporting the community for some long nights. Training in March included an Alpha unit walkthrough with our pals at Lapeer County EMS, Fit Test training, and hose deployment. We also had a special visit from the Easter Bunny, who hopped by for breakfast and pics with our amazing community.

Please call 911 in case of emergencies.
