Proclamation by Governor Shapiro. A proclamation can't erase loss, but it can reaffirm a shared commitment to action. Today's proclamation of Pennsylvania Overdose Awareness Day reflects the Commonwealth's ongoing commitment to raising awareness, preventing overdose, expanding access to treatment and recovery, and supporting Pennsylvanians affected by substance use disorder.

We are honored to welcome David A. Jobes, Ph.D., ABPP, internationally recognized su***de prevention researcher, author, and Professor of Psychology at The Catholic University of America, as our keynote speaker.

WJAC stopped by, and Shane, our CSP Ambassador, was interviewed about the event and the importance of connecting individuals with local resources. Attendees enjoyed delicious food, fun activities, and the chance to learn about services available in our community.
