It is with profound sadness that the Du Quoin Police Department announces the passing of Police K-9 Booker. Booker recently retired after honorably serving the City of Du Quoin for 10 years. Unfortunately, his retirement was cut short by an aggressive form of cancer.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Booker's partner, Du Quoin Police Officer Clay McDonnough and his family.
