WANTED: WILLIE HARDY

The Perry County Sheriff's Office continues to be on the hunt for 37-year-old Willie Hardy of Whiteville, Tennessee, following a May 19 police pursuit that ended near the Interstate 64 interchange north of Nashville.
Hardy, who has a full extradition warrant out of Tennessee, allegedly fled on foot into a wooded area along the interstate after crashing the vehicle between the bridge and the I-64 eastbound off ramp.
Hardy is described as 5-foot-10, 175 pounds with black hair/brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a Chicago Bulls shirt, ballcap, tan pants and black shoes.
He is believed to have connections in the Jefferson County area, specifically Mt. Vernon.
Hardy is considered a dangerous individual due to a history of aggravated battery, fleeing, escape and weapon charges.
If you have seen him, please contact your local law enforcement agency.
