May is Mental Health Awareness month! As the newsletter proudly states, PUSD students have access to counselors at every site. However, they neglect to mention that they are reducing the number of counselors available to our students. If mental health is so important, why is the district cutting these incredibly valuable positions?? Why are the cuts seemingly always harming programs our students so desperately need and deserve?

Write your PUSD School Board members and/or come speak at the board meeting this Thursday at 6:00pm to vocalize your support and show solidarity with our amazing school counselors!

PLEASANTON COMMUNITY! WE NEED YOU TONIGHT (Feb 28th) ! The PUSD School Board will be holding a special board meeting to discuss possible actions if APT goes on strike. They would rather pay substitutes than invest in our students and staff. Tell them to prioritize OUR STUDENTS and STAFF!
