💚💛 Celebrating Our Custodians! 💛💚

Today is National Custodial Worker’s Recognition Day, and we’re giving a big shoutout to our entire custodial team for all they do to keep Grizzell running!

Our custodians do so much more than take care of our building. They know our students, cheer them on, and are always up for a little fun along the way. Those everyday interactions have made them an important part of our Grizzell community. 💚

A special shoutout to the custodians pictured here, and to every team member who helps make Grizzell a welcoming place for our students and staff. We appreciate you today and every day! 💛

🇫🇷🎨 Taking Learning Outside! 🎨🇫🇷

Our World Traveler students brought a little piece of France to Grizzell! Students learned about French mosaics and then took their creativity outside, using sidewalk chalk to create their own colorful mosaic-inspired designs right out front. 🖍️✨

We love when learning goes beyond the classroom! Our students got to explore art, culture, and creativity while transforming the sidewalk into a gallery of their own. 💚💛

A little French culture + a lot of creativity = a pretty amazing way to learn! 🇫🇷🎨

💚💛 34 Seasons. Countless Players. A Lasting Legacy. 💛💚

We’re so proud to see Grizzell Middle School’s own Coach Chad Isaly featured by ABC 6 for his incredible 34-year coaching legacy! 🏈

For more than three decades, Coach Isaly has been a constant on the Grizzell football sidelines, helping young athletes grow both on and off the field. His impact reaches far beyond the game—with the relationships, lessons, and memories he has created along the way lasting long after players leave Grizzell. 💚

We’re grateful for the time, energy, passion, and dedication Coach Isaly has given to generations of Grizzell students. What a legacy of Celtic Strong! 💚💛

🍂 October is a month for recognizing, supporting, and celebrating the people who make our school community stronger. 💚💛

This month, we’re shining a light on three important observances:

💚 Learning Disabilities Awareness Month — celebrating the strengths, abilities, and unique perspectives of every learner.

💛 National Bullying Prevention Month — choosing kindness, inclusion, and respect and making sure everyone feels safe and valued.

💚 National Principals Month — showing appreciation for the leadership, support, and dedication our principals bring to our school every day.

Together, these reminders help us build a school community where every student feels supported, included, and empowered to grow. 💚💛

🌎💚 International Translation Day 💛🌎

Today we’re celebrating the power of language to connect us! Whether we’re translating words, learning a new language, or discovering a different culture, communication helps us understand one another and see the world from new perspectives. 💚

At Grizzell, we’re proud of the many languages, cultures, and experiences that make our school community unique. Every language adds another way to connect, share, learn, and build understanding. 💛

Here’s to celebrating the words that bring us together—no matter what language we speak! 🌎💚💛

🏡💚 National Good Neighbor Day 💚🏡

A good neighbor is someone who looks out for others, lends a helping hand, shares a smile, and makes the community around them a little brighter. 💛

At Grizzell, we know being a good neighbor can happen in big ways and small ones—from welcoming someone new at lunch to helping a classmate, including others, or simply choosing kindness when it matters most. 💚

Today is a great reminder that the little things we do for one another can make a big difference. Let’s keep looking out for each other and building a community where everyone feels like they belong. 💚💛

Happy National Good Neighbor Day, Celtics!

🍂🏈 What a night, Grizzell! 🏈🍂

Our Fall Tailgate was a HUGE success! From music and yard games to pizza, Kona Ice, snacks, and ALL the bubbles 🫧, our students had an amazing time hanging out with friends and kicking off the evening with plenty of Celtic spirit! 💚💛

And then it was time to pack the stands and cheer on our 8th-grade football team! 🏈📣 We loved seeing so many students stick around and show their support!

A HUGE thank you to our incredible Grizzell PTO for putting together such a fun event for our students and helping make the night so special. We are so grateful for everything you do to bring our school community together! 💚💛

Good friends. Great memories. Celtic Strong. 💚💛
