📚✨ We’re excited to share some wonderful news!
Dublin Public Library is honored to be one of the libraries receiving $9,954 through Texas Reads Grant Program from the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.

The Texas State Library and Archives Commission is awarding $1,067,128.00 in grants to support Texas Libraries in 2026-2027

Funding Includes:
14 Special Projects 75 Grants ($715,627.00) to expand library access across the state

6 TexTreasures Grants ($223,160.00) to preserve and share unique local collections

12 Texas Reads Grants ($128,341.00) to promote reading and literacy within local communities

These grants help libraries serve all Texans through expanded access, literacy programs, and digitization of historic materials.

SATURDAY, JULY 25, 2026
We're excited to once again offer FREE haircuts during our Back-to-School Fair thanks to the incredible generosity of Shear Heaven, All About You - Spa & Salon, & Barber CJ who are volunteering their time to serve local children. Cuts will begin at 8:30AM.

To help as many families as possible, 60 haircut slots will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.

To keep the line moving smoothly and ensure every child has the opportunity to receive a haircut, we kindly ask families to help us by following these guidelines:

Please arrive with clean hair
If your child has long hair please come with it brushed and detangled. We will also have volunteers available to help detangle hair. We look forward to helping students start the school year feeling confident and ready for success!
