The Leadership Dublin-Laurens Class of 2026 didn’t just learn about leadership...they put it into practice.
This year, class members stepped out into the community through hands-on service projects that focused on teamwork, communication, and making a real impact right here in Dublin-Laurens.

🎉Dublin Information Booth partnering with Visit Dublin GAℹ️

Being the face of a community is a responsibility, and an opportunity to lead. 👋🏻

During the St. Patrick’s Arts & Crafts Festival, a member of the Leadership Dublin-Laurens Class of 2026 served on the front lines at the Visit Dublin GA information booth...welcoming thousands of attendees, sharing maps and brochures, answering questions, and helping guide visitors through the experience.

Serving in this role requires strong communication, energy, and pride in place. By connecting with both visitors and locals, this effort helped shape how our community is experienced and remembered.

The Leadership Dublin-Laurens Class of 2026 didn’t just learn about leadership...they put it into practice.
This year, class members stepped out into the community through hands-on service projects that focused on teamwork, communication, and making a real impact right here in Dublin-Laurens.

🎈Hot Air Balloon Setup partnering with Dublin Laurens St. Patrick's Festival☘️

There’s more to a great event than what you enjoy as a spectator. 🤝

A group from the Leadership Dublin-Laurens Class of 2026 volunteered at the Hot Air Balloon Festival, working alongside pilots and crews to help bring the event to life. From coordination to communication and precise timing, it takes incredible teamwork behind the scenes to make it all happen.

This experience gave the class a new appreciation for the work that goes into creating memorable community events, and the leadership it takes to make them successful.

🧹 Downtown Litter Pick-Up partnering with Keep Dublin Laurens Beautiful♻️

Keeping our community clean is about more than appearances, it’s about pride, teamwork, and setting the standard. ☘️

One group from the Leadership Dublin-Laurens Class of 2026 took on a series of downtown litter pick-ups, creating a visible impact for everyone who lives, works, and visits here. When people see a group working together to care for their community, it inspires others to do the same.

Even better, this effort isn't ending with the class. These cleanups continue bi-weekly, leaving a lasting impact on our community.

☘️Meet the Leadership Dublin-Laurens board

"Angela Wright is a Banking Officer and Branch Manager at the East Dublin office of Bank of Dudley, where she has worked for over 21 years. With a strong commitment to serving her community, Angela brings both leadership and dedication to her role in banking and beyond.

Angela is actively involved in the community through the Rotary Club’s Read to Lead Program and enjoys giving back through service and mentorship. She attends Holy Temple Church of God in Christ in Soperton, her hometown, where she remains deeply connected to her roots.
​
She is married to Ralph Wright, and together they have two daughters and two grandsons. In her free time, Angela enjoys reading and attending all types of sporting events. She is a graduate of the 2020 Class of Leadership Dublin-Laurens, and currently serves as secretary of the LDL board."

👋🏼 Leadership Dublin-Laurens | Final Class Session

The Class of 2026 wrapped up their leadership journey with a meaningful final session! The day began with lunch from Brian’s Subs 🥪 before diving into a presentation from Mitch Griggs, President of the Dublin-Laurens County Development Authority, and a Personal Leadership Planning workshop led by Brittany Adams-Pope of the Fanning Institute for Leadership Development.

The class also toured one of Dublin’s newest industrial sites, Hwashin Manufacturing.

A strong close to a year of growth, connection, and leadership development. We can’t wait to see the impact this class will continue to make! 💚
