🚛 Yard Debris Collection Update – June 9, 2026

We will continue sharing route updates as often as our Sanitation team provides them—so you can stay informed and prepared!

✅ If you’re along today’s route, please have your yard debris curbside in advance.

🌟 Welcome Our Summer Youth Worker! 🌟

The City of Dublin is proud to participate in the Summer Youth Works Program through the Dublin-Laurens County Chamber of Commerce, Dublin, GA—an 8-week initiative that connects local high school students with hands-on, career-focused experience right here in our community.

Through this program, students ages 16–19 gain valuable workplace skills, complete soft-skills training, and contribute at least 32 hours per week to local employers across a variety of fields. We’re honored to be part of shaping the next generation of our workforce!

☘️ Welcome Kimora Dudley! ☘️

Kimora will be working with our Parks & Recreation Department this summer. She is a recent graduate of East Laurens County Schools and a former track state finalist. She plans to study psychology at Clark Atlanta University and aspires to become a pediatrician. Kimora joined the Summer Youth Works Program through her Early Childhood class and is passionate about building her resume and gaining real-world experience. She enjoys spending time with friends, especially going out to eat and exploring new places.

Kimora hopes to live and work in Atlanta in the future, and we’re proud she chose to gain experience with the City of Dublin before heading off to pursue her dreams.

Welcome to the team, Kimora—we’re excited to have you! 💚

The City of Dublin is proud to announce Rebecca “Becca” Brantley as its 2026 Archway Summer Intern through the Dublin-Laurens County Archway Partnership.

As part of the partnership, the community has the unique opportunity to host a summer intern through the Look Ahead Georgia Program, an initiative funded by the Georgia Department of Labor. The program connects University of Georgia students with paid internships in their rural hometowns to help build career pathways and strengthen local communities.

This summer, the City of Dublin is excited to welcome Becca, who is interning within the City’s Engineering Department.

Becca is well known throughout the community as the salutatorian of the West Laurens High School Class of 2024. Many residents may also recognize her from the Dublin Theatre, where she has performed alongside her family during the annual Easter Eve Gospel Sing.

Currently, Becca is continuing her academic journey toward becoming a Mechanical Engineer with a focus in aerospace engineering. Through the 2026 Look Ahead Georgia cohort, she is gaining hands-on, career-focused experience while remaining connected to her hometown.

Becca shared that participating in the internship has been especially meaningful. “I’m excited to be home for the summer while continuing to work toward my career goals,” she said. “By working in my hometown, I’m able to attend my sister’s softball games and continue going to Disney World with my family.”

The City of Dublin is proud to support Becca as she continues her path toward a career in engineering and looks forward to the impact she will make both locally and beyond.
